[Sensing the frustration is likely a subconscious reason that she's still shifted, one large mass of heat and fur. Some say that when a feline lays on one's chest and purrs that they're attempting to heal that chosen person, and perhaps that's even more likely to be true here, what with the magic present in here. Maybe in combination with the magic of the Bond it will provide some balance to his frustration.
The soft rumbling deepens when he presses a kiss to her fur, eyes closing slowly at the pleasant feel of his affection. She presses her face in the crook of his neck, her nose nudging against his pulse, something that doesn't quite carry the same emotional implications in this form. It can be explained away as feline behavior, lighter and with less vulnerability. So, she nuzzles and inhales the scent of him while rubbing hers there to accompany it, each motion soft, careful of his more worn state and her strength in this form.
The other perk to this? Words need not be said on her end, not yet at least. She does apologize for disrupting the sphinx, so she flicks the length of her tail at him so that the end of it brushes just past him.]
[Once she is settled against him, Ozymandias' hands shift where they are giving her scritches. One of his hands trails further down Sheva's back to her shoulders and down along her spine as far as he can reach while the other moves to the cheek not currently pressed against his neck. The hand at her back gives her a few pats, causing a few thunks against her solid mass before stilling there almost as if cradling her. The other at her cheek continues and dips beneath her chin. Ozymandias is conservative with how much magic he allows to flow from him to her, nothing more than what naturally does whenever they touch. He still has plenty yet, but he'd rather not expend it beyond what is necessary.]
[As her tail moves past the sphinx, the cub slaps the bed with one of its paws. It's a little too slow in its reaction to catch it, but he waits for it to make its return before trying for another pounce. He has had plenty of practicing in hunting with Fang and has learned to be less impulsive, more patient in making his advances as that seems to pay off for him far more. Had he visible eyes though, they would probably be widened in immediate curiosity and readiness.]
[Another motivating perk? The indulgence of both cuddling and back scratches, which don't seem to be a thing that happens much in her more human form. Back rubs were definitely something frequent, as were gentle touches and traces of fingers along the curve of her spine, but this hit different. Better even.
There's a responsive huff at the pats, which sound weirder as the recipient. Now she knows how the sphinx and her fur children experience similar affections from her. When his hand nears her chin she lifts it, dragging her wet nose across his neck while politely demanding she would like attention there please and thank you Ozymandias. If he takes to long, she's going to lick him.
All the while, she swishes her tail for the sphinx to enjoy, keeping her movements less predictable, but nothing too difficult for the cub. Just for fun and practice.]
[The hunt is on at the foot of the bed. The sphinx cub scampers after the tail when he misses again, throwing himself on top of it and trying to pin it down. Of course, the tip of her tail is still mobile, so he begins to turn himself so he can get that under control only to lose control once more. Darnit!]
[Ozymandias obliges her as she lifts her chin. No licking required as he's been around enough felines throughout his lifetime and thereafter to know that one gives scritches where they are directed to give them. There are consequences otherwise. So, even if this is Sheva, he's going to pay attention to that feline part of her mind right now. As she's lifting her chin for him, he presses another kiss to her brow, just above one of her eyes.]
[Even with her head tilted for chin scratches, Sheva angles her head so she can watch the cub's hunting antics absently out of the edge of her vision, choosing to flick the fluffier end of it at the sphinx. He's adorable when he's terrorized.
So is her Bond. With what might appear to be absent attempts at achieving greater comfort, the lioness stretches out her top most front leg to drape over his chest and shoulder, pinning him more or less. Then, she covertly bleps out her tongue just enough to spread moisture along the crook of his neck just as he kisses her brow. Don't worry Ozy, it's just the tip. For now, the comb of her tongue is reined.
All the while, she purrs as though she's not making small attempts to terrorize the king in his own bed. Honestly he should be used to it by now.]
[Ozymandias crinkles his nose lightly at the threat of her tongue against his neck.]
Do not think to try and groom me, Sheva. I will not tolerate it.
[His warning doesn't have any bite behind it, however. Part of him is too tired to put up that much fuss, but even if that weren't the case, he would perhaps at most just turn her head away with a hand rather than kick her off him or his bed.]
[The sphinx, however, has a lot more fight in him than Ozymandias right now. With her tail free again, he has to work to get it pinned. This time, he's focused on getting the tip of it under control. It may or may not involve some bites here and there.]
