🢒🢒 CHARIOT DU NORD (URSULA CALLISTIS)

The affection and love between Ramesses and Chariot is not something either one of them likely anticipated, but there is no denying it runs just as deep as any Bond in Aefenglom. Chariot managed to pique his interest with her intelligence and beauty, and endeared herself to him with how gentle and kind her heart truly is. When it became apparent how much more there was to her, it was perhaps inevitable that he would grow to love her as deeply and fiercely as he does. Ramesses sees the light that Chariot has attempted to hide away, and he is proud of each of the steps she's taken in letting it shine once more. In contrast, Chariot has witnessed some of the darkness that lingers within the pharaoh's shadow. There is a lot that needs to be addressed, and little by little they are doing just that.

He is her sun, but she is his guiding star, shining brighter than other others in the night sky.

🢒🢒 CROIX MERIDIES

Croix's arrival was more than a little surprise as Chariot opted not to tell him about it. But he was able to hear Chariot out and give Croix a fair shake. After all, she had been incredibly helpful with squeezing money out of the elite for one of his parliamentary projects. And whether he would openly admit to it or not, he can certainly relate to high ambitions with high costs. He is optimistic at this point that he might be able to develop a positive relationship with her though despite her past with Chariot. She genuinely appears to possess a desire to do good and he's quite confident she will further his own ambitions when theirs happen to align.

But frankly, if Croix hurts Chariot again, he will absolutely be the first one to ice her out.

🢒🢒 CÚ CHULAINN (BERSERKER)

Initially permitted in Ozymandias' home as a favor to Saber, Ozymandias held little interest in Berserker. However, upon taking him in, Ozymandias made his well-being a priority. Their relationship can still be a bit conflictual due to the stark differences in their personalities, but there's a friendship and trust in there somewhere as Ozymandias continues to come back to Berserker and Berserker tolerates it. Ozymandias thinks Berserker has done well in bettering his ability to care for himself, but there's still some room for improvement.

Still, Ozymandias does not make Berserker's business his business quite as often as he once did. Or, at the very least, he's far less prone to go out of his way and make it his business. But what is he supposed to do if Berserker's business crosses his path? Ignore it? Unlikely.

🢒🢒 ENKIDU (LANCER)

Initially upon their arrival, Ozymandias provided Enkidu with a great deal of guidance and advice on how to survive this world. Once Gilgamesh arrived in the city, however, Ozymandias was happy to leave those as matters between the two friends. In the time since these events, however, some of the dynamics between Ozymandias and Enkidu have somewhat inverted as Enkidu has offered their assistance to Ozymandias through various losses. Although a bit too prideful to take them up on everything that they have offered (those sandwiches...), Ozymandias has been grateful for the kind display of friendship and goodwill.

🢒🢒 (OERBA YUN) FANG (BONDED)

It's the sort of relationship that probably should have never been what it's managed to become. Fang is the exact sort of uncouth, rough-around-the-edges person that Ozymandias should have very little to no patience with. And she certainly tests what little patience he has with being Patient Zero of the Ozy Calamity. But where Ozymandias becomes aggravated, Ramesses has developed more than a soft spot for the Turnskin. First they Bonded and then they... Well, they don't really have a good word for what they are now, but there's a lot more trust and respect than what had been there in the beginning, and an odd sort of fondness has taken root.

She is an alligator brains, but she is an alligator brains he trusts. And even if he'll never admit it even under duress or magic, he does...sorta like that she calls him Ozy, Sunshine, Pretty Boy, and all the other dumb nicknames she's developed. Just not Ozman. That one is genuinely out and not allowed.

🢒🢒 GILGAMESH (ARCHER)

Despite not being the Archer summoned to Chaldea, Ozymandias by default is willing to demonstrate a degree of respect to the oldest Heroic Spirit. (Although he refuses to show deference as that would be most unbecoming of the King of Kings to acknowledge any king as his superior as far as that matter is concerned.) Their mutual respect will likely carry them far in (re)developing an allyship with one another. It's likely that friendly competitions and sharing bottles of wine will be on the horizon.

🢒🢒 Hubert von Vestra

Well.

This happened.

Thrust into suddenly co-parenting Leslie in the wake of Edelgard's departure from this world, Hubert and Ozymandias are not exactly two people who would ever likely associate with one another. So far, they seem capable of tolerating one another's contrasting temperament with a decent amount of success. With any luck, it should continue.

🢒🢒 ISKANDAR (RIDER)

This is not the Rider who was summoned to Chaldea, but Ozymandias is still willing to recognize the King of Conquerors as a fellow pharaoh all the same. Although they do not always agree about how exactly to rule, Ozymandias would not deny that Iskandar is capable and worthy of respect. He finds it unfortunate that they have not been afforded to spend much time with one another, but Ozymandias hopes to rectify this in the near future.

🢒🢒 KAEDE

Kaede continues to remain a bit of a mystery to Ozymandias. Although she tends to lurk far less than she did in the beginning, they haven't really engaged one another in too much casual conversation. Still, she's managed to leave an overall positive impression upon Ozymandias between her promise as a senet player and her apparent fondness for the sphinx cubs. Ozymandias will continue to allow this relationship to be on Kaede's terms as he's certain if he pushes too hard for more, she'll likely slip back into the shadows.

🢒🢒 LESLIE

Ozymandias does not know the full extent of Leslie's past, but the marks left behind by cruelty are easily identified in the way she speaks of herself and uncomfortably manages any praise he bestows upon her. But while it is infuriating to him that she should have ever experienced any sort of mistreatment, the past is something Ozymandias knows cannot be undone and he must focus on instead providing her with the affection, guidance, and education she should have received and always deserved. He remains honest and forthright with her, allowing her to develop trust within him at whatever pace feels comfortable for her, all the while seeking to spoil her rotten so that she might know just how truly wonderful and special she truly is.

It perhaps goes without saying, but Leslie is a daughter to Ozymandias. There is little he would not do for her and it shall always be his goal that she might grow into a young woman who has managed to access her full potential.

🢒🢒 SHEVA ALOMAR (BONDED)

While admittedly, Sheva is not the sort of person Ozymandias would normally consider Bonding with permanently (not out of any particular or personal slight toward her, but an acknowledgment of the vast differences between them), he is not one to ignore divine intervention when it presents itself. She is a proud and strong warrior, and while the abilities she's gained are of this world, Ozymandias thinks it no coincidence that she shares in the feline characteristics of Sekhmet. And so, their Bond seemed a sensible decision between friends. Sheva would have the space to stabilize and heal, and in return, she would look after Ozymandias much in the way Sekhmet protects Pharaoh.

It comes in little pieces every now and again, but since they decided to Bond, Ozymandias has gotten to know Sheva far better than he had before. He does not pity her for her experiences, thinking that would be insulting to her, but he has a better understanding of why she moves through the world the way she does now. And perhaps more important than even that, regardless of whatever awaits Sheva back in her world, Ozymandias wishes for Sheva to know happiness here and now.

🢒🢒 TWEVOR MELNOT

While his table manners are certainly lacking, Trevor is not at all bad company to keep. There is something that Ozymandias finds faintly amusing about Trevor. And he does recognize some vague, genuine effort in there every now and again.

🢒🢒 WAVER VELVET

Ozymandias can't help but think Waver is a bit of a stick in the mud most of the time, as he requires a bit of work to get him to do anything even remotely close to resembling fun. Plus, he talks almost as much as Ozymandias once you get him on the subject of magecraft and Ozymandias just has little to no interest in that subject.

And yet, at this point, Ozymandias finds all of Waver's fussiness a bit endearing. He plainly has a good and noble heart, and there is something to Waver's eyes when he speaks about what he's passionate about that Ozymandias has not seen in thousands of years. Plus, he's easy to get riled up and Ozymandias needs to amuse himself somehow. Unfortunately, they have not spent much time together as of late.
